Sophie Benoit

Passed away on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018, with family by her side at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Donald Francis (deceased 1991). Loving mother of Joseph, Michael (Cindy), Mary (Mark), Peter (Trish), and Patricia (deceased 2012). Cherished grandmother of Nathen and Joshua. Survived by her sister Rosie. Sophie will be dearly missed by longtime friend Colin, nephew Steve (Colleen) and the long list of family and friends whose lives she touched. Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Sunday, July 15th, 2018 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11am. An interment will follow at Brampton Memorial Gardens (Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive W.). Donations in Sophie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
