It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie. Debbie passed away peacefully with her friend Linda by her side at the C.C.U. at University Hospital London on February 19, 2019. Daughter of the late Evelyn and John Wolski. Loving sister of Dena. Predeceased by her sister Nancy, brother David (2019). Survived by her brother-in-law Doug of Windsor, nephew Aaron (Shannon) of Keswick and niece Lorraine Lightfoot of Hanson. Debbie graduated from nursing and worked at University Hospital London in the C.C.U. Unit and later became Nurse educator of Cardiology. She had a 34 year career in nursing which she loved. She will be lovingly remembered by her wonderful friends Sandra, Linda Keogh of London, Fr. Rick Jannisse, and Linda Monika of Windsor, Sue McKenzie (and Family), Joanne Beasley and Penny Spencer.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, Brantford on Tuesday February 26, 2019 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations would be appreciated to one of the following, Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cardiac Care Program Nursing Education Fund or Participation House in Brantford.
