Patrick A. Njoroge

Patrick A. Njoroge, 50, of Harrisburg, passed away May 19, 2019 in Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born February 2, 1969 in Thika, Kenya, son of Silas and Hannah (Michere) Liyai. Patrick started his early studies at St. Patrick’s Primary School and later graduated at Equator High School, Thika, Kenya. He later relocated to the United States in 1999. He completed his Practical Nursing program at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, in 2001. He was an employee of UPMC Pinnacle Health. He also worked part-time as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Manor Care, Camp Hill. He was a very involved member of the choir at MCC of the Spirit- Harrisburg and was always available to offer prayers for members of the congregation and anyone that was in need. Surviving Patrick is his wife, Millie Njoroge (UPMC Pinnacle – CGOH) and daughter Michelle Njoroge (Boston University- the Undergraduate Program in Neuroscience). Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019 from 5-8 pm, at Neill Funeral Home, Camp Hill. Additional visitation will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Penbrook UCC 56 Banks St. Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00am. A procession will follow the service to the burial at St. John’s Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Boston University to further his daughters education. Please see address and information required below.
