Ralph Anton Dobrawa

Ralph Anton Dobrawa, age 92, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Tuesday March 19, 2019. Ralph was born February 28, 1927 in Los Angeles, California. Ralph graduated from Sweetwater High School and received an Associate degree from Southwestern College. On July 2, 1954 Ralph married the love of his life, Consuelo. They were blessed with 57 years of marriage and three sons; Victor, Stephen and Stanley. Ralph had a successful 24 year career in the U.S. Air Force. Upon his retirement he started his second career in aviation electronics working at the Naval Air Rework Facility at North Island, Coronado. Ralph was a devout catholic and family man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a long-time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. For leisure time, Ralph's passion was playing jazz piano, metal detecting and woodworking. Ralph will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Ralph is survived by; son Victor H. Dobrawa; son Stephen L. Dobrawa; son Stanley A. Dobrawa; three loving daughters-in-law; Zeny Dobrawa, Leticia Dobrawa and Teresa Dobrawa. His Legacy includes granddaughter Lucy Dobrawa, grandson Ralph Dobrawa, grandson Joseph Dobrawa, granddaughter Angela Dobrawa, granddaughter Jessica Dobrawa, grandson Vincent Dobrawa and great grandson Nicholas Dobrawa. Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife Consuelo in 2011. A celebration of life memorial service for Ralph will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A catholic funeral mass will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 1120 Cuyamaca Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91911.
