Dale E. Wescott

Dale Edgar Wescott, age 63, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House in Sherrills Ford, NC. Born February 28, 1956 in Ticonderoga, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Bowers and Nancy Eckard. Dale was a truck driver for over 35 years. He loved his family and riding his Harley. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Wescott; sons, Billy Braymer and fiancée, Leslie; Sean Wescott and fiancée, Melinda; daughter Lisa Samuel and husband, Derrick, and Jacqueline Wescott; grandchildren, Halley Grigg, James Braymer, Taylor Teeter, Jason Wescott, Dale Wescott II, Jordan Wescott and Kenzie Wescott; great-grandchildren, Roy James Teeter, Liam Braymer and Knox James Teeter A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
