Charles Lynn Schultz

Charles Lynn Schultz, 85, of Spring, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born December 18, 1932 in Anderson County, Tennessee. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, William Taft and Mary Gladys (Giffin) Schultz and his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Jeannette Schultz. Charles joined the U.S. Navy and served onboard the USS Salamonie from 1952-56. Charles retired from Trunkline Gas Company in 1987. Charles had a servant’s heart. He was an ordained Deacon, a Sunday school teacher, sang in the Church choir and served as a Lay Chaplain. Charles is a member of The Woodlands First Baptist Church and a Charter Member of Sawdust Road Baptist Church. Charles enjoyed bowling, golf, photography and traveling the US with his wife and family He is survived by Son, David Schultz and wife, Alice, Daughter, Laura Berryman and husband, Ken, Grandchildren Alisha Berryman, Angela Schultz-Barrera, Jennifer Berryman, Heather Schultz-Carranza, and Leesha Schultz, Great Grandchildren, Daisy Carranza, Tristan Barrera, Leah Moody, Emmalynn Barrera, Wyatt Valadez, and Luke Moody, and Sister, Judy Melder and husband, David. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until services begin.
