Keith Gale Pollard

Keith Gale Pollard age 64, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019. He is survived by his son, Stephen (Amber) Pollard; grandchildren, Nathan and Cole Pollard; father, Anthony John Pollard; twin brother, Kevin (Kathy) Pollard, sister, Janelle Pollard and brother, Jeffrey (Rosemary) Pollard; nieces and nephews, Michael Pollard, Joey Pollard, Jennifer (Tony) Elizondo, Jason (Amy) Pollard, Jonathan (Kelly) Pollard and Austin Pollard; former wife and friend, Jane Erickson and a host of extended family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean (nee Williamson) Pollard and brother, John Paul (late Beverly) Pollard. Keith was born on September 21, 1954 in Hammond, IN to Anthony John and Barbara Jean Pollard. He was a 1972 graduate of Hammond Tech High School. Keith retired as a mechanic from Inland Steel with 33 years of service. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, watching his kids play baseball, playing golf, drinking his favorite beer-Rolling Rock-while laying poolside and hanging out with his friends and family. Keith was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN) with a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Dan Nichols officiating. In lieu of flowers, Keith would want everyone to make someone smile....everyday.
