Pauline B Walker

Pauline B. Walker was born Wednesday January 28, 1931 in Austin, Texas to Paul and Lorraine (Goodman) Burleson. She passed away on Sunday May 5, 2019 in Plano, Texas. She grew up with her half-brother Terry Burleson in Austin, Texas. She married the love of her life Robert G Walker in Austin, Texas on February 11, 1951. Together they had five wonderful children; Keith Walker, Mark Walker, Susan Walker, Wayne Walker and Sally Walker. "Polly" was a Career Housewife and COO of the household. She was passionate about cooking and will be remembered for her many delicious meals. She was a loving and caring mother and wife. One of her most favorite places to be was at their lake house on Lake Travis spending time with her beloved family. She will be fondly remembered for her Patriotism for her country and always insisted on voting as her right as an American. She was an independent, tenacious and opinionated women. She was always thinking about others before herself. She will be greatly missed by many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G Walker. Her parents, John Burleson and Lorraine Aderholt. Also her stepfather Gene Aderholt and son Wayne Walker. She is survived by her son, Keith Walker of Austin, Texas. Daughter, Susan (Walker) and Matt Lavigne of Carrollton, Texas. Son, Mark and Tammie Walker of Celina, Texas. Daughter, Sally (Walker) and John Riojas of Schertz, Texas. Her seven grandchildren, Kyle Walker, Alexander Walker, Addison Walker, Robert Lauinger, John Lauinger, David Riojas, Evan Riojas and Olivia Riojas. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a donation in Pauline B Walker's honor to a charity of your choice. Services for Pauline B Walker will be Saturday May 11, 2019 from 4 - 6 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home on 8011 Frankford Road Dallas, Texas. A committal service will be held on Monday May 13, 2019 at 2 PM at Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Austin, Texas.
