Donna "Nona" Kathryn Cooper

Age 75 of Dartmouth, died August 14, 2019 at the VG Hospital. Born in Halifax, she lived all her life in Dartmouth. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and George Schwartz. Nona was a devoted mother and wife, fiercely proud of her family. She was kind, generous, and enjoyed the simple things in life. Donna is survived by her husband, Frank Cooper; son, George (Nancy); daughters, Patti, Kate (Heather); brother, Art Schwartz; granddaughters, Kelsey, Réanne, Josée, Kailey, Kara; great-grandson, Alek; best friend, Margi Bain, and a large circle of friends and family. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday August 18 in Holy Trinity Emmanuel Church. Interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Emmanuel Church or do something kind for someone. Nona would like that.
