IN THE CARE OF
Martin Funeral Home
John Charles “Jack” Bracy went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2019. Jack was born at Ft. Hood in Killeen Texas on August 9th, 1950. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Sally Kathleen. Jack is also survived by multiple loving family members and countless friends. Jack was preceded in death by his mother Mary and father John Bracy, his sister Jean and brother Dan. Jack grew up in El Paso, and went to Irvin High School and UTEP. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business. Jack was a friend to everyone he met. Besides being a friend to strangers, Jack was the first responder to anyone who called for help in anyway, always lending a hand or giving free advice on a wide range of topics. His knowledge and expertise was insurance and financial planning, but he was able to easily talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime and make them feel like they had known each other for decades. Jack did not have any enemies, you could not help but love Jack as so many people do. Jack’s passing will leave a huge hole in the lives of those left behind in his family, friends and business circles. All who were blessed to have had Jack be a part of their lives will no doubt remember his charming wit and humor, his love for his faith, his encouraging wisdom, and his passionate love and devotion to Sally.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13. This Scripture verse is the picture of Jack. He was always immersing himself in the lives of others, praising God and giving Him the glory for a life well lived. Jack always told us, “take a deep breath.”
