Obituary of Kevin Maledy

Kevin M. Maledy, 64, of Millersburg, Missouri passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on May 16, 2019. Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. The family will receive guests from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Kevin was born on December 31, 1954 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri to Calvin Maledy and Drucilla Ann Post. He was married on October 23, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri to Julie Holden. Kevin was a graduate of Waynesville High School before serving his country in the United States Air Force as a medic from 1974-1978. In addition to being The World’s Greatest Husband and Father, Kevin had a great love and passion for music. He played the drums and guitar and was always finding new music to listen to and share. Kevin enjoyed studying history and had an unquenchable thirst to learn and expand his horizons. He was an artist for all of his life and his artwork can be viewed at @kevinmmaledy on Instagram. In addition to his wife, Julie, of Millersburg, he is survived by one son, Kyle Maledy and his wife, Amber, of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Kelsie McDonald and her husband, Brandon, of Millersburg, Missouri; his father, Calvin Maledy, of Branson, Missouri and his cousin, Phyllis Edmonds, of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Drucilla Ann Post. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stephen Siller Tunnels to Towers Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital both in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
