Richard Lee Wolf, 89 of Ault, passed away October 2, 2019 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Richard was born September 17, 1930, in Greeley, CO, to Mike and Martha (Bauer) Wolf.
Richard attended Buell Middle School and Eaton High School before enlisting in the National Guard. He went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corp before coming back to raise a family and farm near Eaton & Ault. From 1973 until 2000 Richard owned Wolf Trucking and was a Dekalb corn seed salesman.
Richard was a member of the Ault VFW Post 4334. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, active in the Ault Business Association, and a Rocky Mountain Farmers Union board member. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Richard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bernice; sons, Randy (Kathy), Michael (Karen), and Jeremy; and daughter Jody (Steve) Ezinga, Seven grandchildren, & thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bob Wolf, and grandson Matt Ezinga.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the First Lutheran Church, 402 Graefe Ave., Ault, Colorado. Interment will be held at 9:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, prior to the memorial service.
