David Moulton

David "Dave" Moulton Age 65, of Halifax. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dave on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at home. David was a son of Gertie (Cluett) and the late George Harvey Moulton. He is survived by his mother, Gertrude; loving wife of 45 years, Diane (Pelrine); son, Jason (Johanna), Burlington, Ont. and daughter, Shauna (Fernando), Halifax; aunts, uncle, cousins, many brothers and sisters-in-law that he considered brothers and sisters; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and one great-nephew that enjoyed hearing Uncle Dave's life advice! He was predeceased by his father; brother, Gerald; mother and father- in-law, Jimmy and Marie Pelrine and many aunts and uncles. For 40 years Dave was a proud and dedicated employee of PEPSICO Canada. Over his four decades of service, Dave enjoyed selling Pepsi throughout HRM and surrounding areas meeting countless acquaintances, loyal customers, colleagues and friends along the way. For the past 34 years, he enjoyed spending his summers camping at Beech Brook Campground with family and friends. He loved sitting on the deck with his dog Jasper enjoying a Keiths while he watched the hummingbirds and Jasper watched the bunnies. Dave loved woodworking, collecting classic die-cast cars, barbequing, watching NASCAR and watching the Food Network. Dave always recalled fondly his NASCAR trip with his son Jason and the Pepsi cake that daughter Shauna made for a Pepsi fundraiser. Both of his children made him an exceptionally proud father. Dave will always be remembered for his quick wit, honest advice, and being a foreman on a multitude of campground projects. A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held on Friday, May 24th in Royal Canadian Legion, Fairview Branch, 50 Hillcrest St., Halifax, from 2-6 p.m. Interment on Saturday, May 25th at 11 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Inspired Program at the QEII, The Lung Association Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of choice.
