Trevor Mason Murphy

Trevor Mason Murphy (Murph), age 41 passed away at home suddenly on Tuesday, January 1st 2019. He was born in New Glasgow on January 26th, 1977 to his loving parents Jamie and Kiltie (Mason) Murphy whom he had a special bond with. He is also survived by his older brother Dwayne (Shalyn) children: Seth & Olivia, his in laws who were more like a second family to him; Greg McNeil, Regina McNeil, Melissa Morrisette (McNeil) and Mal and Al McNeil along with many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by many more family members and countless friends. Trevor was a proud business owner and entrepreneur. He ventured into the restaurant business at the young age of 23 and with a strong work ethic instilled in him he ran two successful businesses, Plaza Pizza and the Thistle Bar & Grill, a place where many friends were made and old friends would come together. But nothing was more important to him than family. He was a devoted and loving father to sons Mason and Madden. He is also survived by his loving wife Erin, his childhood sweetheart since the age of 14. His soulmate and true partner in life. At the end of the day there was nothing he loved more than watching his two boys out on the ice, whether it was in the backyard or at the local hockey rink, that was truly his happy place in life. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Trevor's life at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive on Monday, January 7th between 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family and will be put in a trust for Mason and Madden.
