Florence M. Brown

Florence Marion Hartman Brown, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was 86 years old. Florence was loved by many and survived by her daughters, Susan Barsanti, Terri Crawford and Sherry Blomberg. Her only son, George Brown, passed away six months prior to her passing. Florence was known by her grandchildren as either meme or g-flo. Florence is best remembered for being a missionary for The Lord in where ever she lived. She was a warrior for The Lord and taught her children to do the same. Florence left this earth peacefully knowing she would be in the arms of Jesus. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 am on Saturday, October 5, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Graveside services for Florence will follow at 11 am on Saturday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tommy Goss officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Maria Bon Secure, 10300 4th Street, North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33716. This will allow them to purchase lap covers for residents that have no family.
