Obituary of Margaret Peggy or Peg I. Allen Busby
Margaret I. Busby, 79, of Homosassa, went home peacefully on Fri., Sept. 9, 2011 at her home surrounded by family. A native of Rochester, NY, she was born Aug. 20, 1932 to Floyd and Lena (Hall) Allen. Margaret moved here 20 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, had many interests and passions in her life, including bowling, sewing, crocheting, billiards, horseshoes, dancing, riding horses, playing cards and the Game Show Network. She also loved her yearly trips to Las Vegas and was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan. She always had a smile on her face and a hand to lend without complaint. She was an independent, loving, courageous woman and the best Mother anyone could ask for. She fought a long hard battle and finally has her wings, peace, no more pain and will always be in our hearts and missed by so many. Margaret is survived by her six children; Darlene Lech (husband Ray), Pittsburgh PA; Julia A. West, Homosassa; Teresa Busby, Crystal River; William Busby, II, Lecanto; Roberta Busby, Beverly Hills and James Busby, Homosassa; as well as her sister Dorothy Templeton, Baltimore, MD; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband The Late William Busby, on Oct. 30, 1998 and a brother, The Late William Allen. A Memorial Service of Remembrance for Margaret will be held on September 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs, with Rev Alan Ritter officiating the service at 5:30 p.m. www.wilderfuneral.com
