Verdell Beasley

Verdell Beasley of Houston, Texas passed away on June 6, 2019.
Verdell made her Grand Entrance to Earth on February 15, 1940.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Herman and Geraldine Bailey.
Verdell had a sense of who she was at an early age and purposed in her
heart to make a difference in the lives of others, so she made the decision
to go to Texas Southern University and major in Education. It was there,
she met the love of her life David Joseph Beasley.
Verdell had a long successful career in Education for Houston Independent
School District and retired from Durkee Elementary after 36 years of
Dedication and Excellence.
She was well respected by her peers and her students. She and her class was affectionately named the "Beasley Beavers".
Verdell was considered the Go To person of the family for legal advice
and good truthful direction and wisdom. Not only was she a great
Orator, she was also a phenomenal writer with over 100 orginal poems
Under her belt.
Verdell greatest Joy was her daughters, who she always referred to as
"My Two Lovely Daughters". Her goal and promise to them was to
always make sure they were taken care of, and she did just that.
She leaves behind not to mourn but to grow and prosper her two
Lovely Daughters Rhondalyn L Beasley and Jerri P Beasley.
She is also survived by two siblings, Wendon M. Oliver and Steve Turner,
also a host of nephews, nieces and Great Friends.
