I would love to share one of my fondest memories of Hazel. Hazel and Gail are my 2nd cousins and Joni is my 3rd when we were younger our families were really close, Joni and I share the same birthday she was born on my second bday. I would go and spend few nights with them sometimes. So the memory is Joni and I had went into the kitchen where Hazel was and Joni had ask her to turn on radio and a popular song came on and Hazel started dancing and Joni and myself joined in! It was so fun and that memory has forever been burned in my mind ,was such a happy and fun time she was making 2 little girls happy! I can almost bet her and my dad are doing a dance of their own in Heaven .

When I was little we slept together and to help me go to sleep she would tenderly stroke my arm until I slept. When I was in school I got the measles and here she was standing all beautiful in her navy blue outfit with the huge white collar to rescue me because she was my Mom replacement after my partents divorce. Joni you did your best with your Mom take comfort in that.
