Obituary of Beverly Raylene Carroll
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Beverly “Raylene” Carroll. Her passing took place on January 19th, 2019, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Margaree Centre, August 31st, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Christine (Ryan) Ingraham. Raylene is survived by her beloved husband of 42 Years, Nick; sons, Ryan, Justin (Romanda), Nicholas and Dylan (Carly); honourary son, Evan Tompkins; as well as her grandchildren, Morgan, Hayden, Brock, Koby, Justin, Kieran, Kayla, Hailey and Holly. Predeceased by her brother, Ted, Raylene is survived by siblings, Ron, Beth, Carol (Pierre), Buck and Jack (Christine); siblings-in-law, Wayne, David (Cathy), Pat (Gisele), Diane (Allana) and Joanne (John); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Raylene lived the majority of her life in Margaree, but spent some time living in Alberta and British Columbia with her husband and sons during their work opportunities. Raylene was an enthusiastic supporter of her children and grandchildren in all their endeavours, and was often a proud face in the crowd to witness their many accomplishments - especially in basketball and tae kwon do. Over the years, Raylene made wonderful friends who will miss her dearly, especially her two faithful canine companions Lily and Lou. Above all, Raylene will be remembered as a tenacious woman who cherished her family, loved and was loved by many, and always tried her best. Cremation has taken place, visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday January 25th in St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Northeast Margaree. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 11a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church with Father Alex MacLellan officiating. Burial at a later date.Reception to follow in the parish hall. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital and palliative care for the wonderful care and support shown to Raylene and her family during her brief illness.
