Denise Elaine Seib

Denise Elaine Seib, age 57, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in her home in Thorsby, AB due to an undiagnosed heart condition. She was born on April 6, 1961 in Edmonton, AB to Elmer and Arlene Stevenson, graduated from Leduc Composite High School in 1979 and married husband, Darrell Seib, on December 26, 1987. Denise was a beautiful and creative soul whose boundless compassion, unwavering composure and critical thinking enabled her to excel in anything she put her mind to. She was many things to many people but the most noteworthy are: devoted daughter, loving wife, steadfast friend, dedicated employee, selfless leader, doting grandmother and amazing mom. She worked at iconic Leduc locales such as the Leduc Inn, Denham Inn, Edmonton International Airport and even Costco, as well as countless hours of volunteer work through the Parent Teacher Associations of her children’s schools. Baking, scrapbooking, gardening and travelling were her passions, and it is hoped that her newest journey is filled with wonder and peace. Denise is survived by father Elmer, husband Darrell, daughters Nicole (Nathan) Froning and Miranda, son Nash and granddaughter Lucy Froning. She was predeceased by mother Muriel Arlene Stevenson. The family will be hosting an informal celebration of Denise’s life at Telford House in Leduc, AB on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 2pm to 6pm. Please feel free to stop in for some refreshment and shared memories of an unforgettable woman.
