William Ellsworth Bloom Jr.

William Bloom Jr. passed away peacefully on May 8, 2019 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI. He was born on June 29, 1943 in Hutchison, KS to William and Estella Bloom. He worked at General Motors in Plant 3 for 38 years before retiring in 2006. He worked very hard throughout those years to take care of his wife, Janeita of almost 54 years, and his three sons, William III, Mark, and James. After retiring he had many things that brought him joy, whether that be, going to breakfast, going to or having garage sales, working outside on various things, or spending time with his family. William got along with everyone he came in contact with as he had a light and peaceful personality that everyone loved. He was the kind of man that would do anything for anyone, no matter what. He is survived by his wife; Janeita, two sons; William III, and James. Grandson’s; Dylan, Branden, and Mark II. Granddaughter’s; Madison, Elainey, and Lilly. He is followed in death by his sister Jelilia, Brother’s; O’neal, and Richard, and son; Mark. Services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in Mason, MI on Monday, May 13, 2019. Visitation will start at 10 am until 12 pm, then the funeral to follow. After the Services we will proceed to Maple Grove Cemetery for the burial. After, we will all go to Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Lansing at 1902 E. Cavanaugh Rd. for a luncheon.
