Lila Mae Lee

Lila Mae Lee, age 85, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Monday September 9, 2019. Lila was born January 11, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to parents Robert and Lila Warren. She met the love of life, James Lee, and they married in 1968. Lila worked as a cook at the Meadow Oaks Academy for over ten years. In her spare time, Lila enjoyed many road trips with her husband James, gardening, visiting with friends, eating out at various restaurants, and camping. Her family and friends will always remember her as a friendly, cheerful, and loving lady. Lila was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and granddaughter Ashley Ward. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James "Bud" Lee; three daughters Sherry and husband Kenneth Williams, Sonya and husband Eric Ward, and Gail and husband Darren Crowe. Lila is also survived by her five grandchildren Cody Roof, Amber Kimball and husband Jason, Karah Finto and husband Thomas, Blaine Crowe and wife Mary and Brook Crowe; four great grandchildren Lex Kimball, Stephan, Chandler and Mia Finto. Lila will be truly missed by those who loved her the most. A visitation for Lila will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Friday, September 13, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159.
