Charles Lester Plummer

Charles Lester “PopPop” Plummer, 69, passed peacefully at home on May 14, 2019. Retired in 2006, Charles was a banking executive specializing in data analytics and deposit systems. A proud Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather, Charles lived in the Charlotte area his entire life. A lover of the outdoors, fastidious student and collector of history, avid supporter of the military, he enjoyed fishing, baseball, tinkering with his tractors and tools, and most of all, being with his family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Morgan Plummer, mother, Thelma Olene Wilson and father, Charles Hubert Plummer. He is survived by his sister Carolyn Vistante of Prescott, AZ, son Josh Plummer, wife Caroline and grandsons Andrew and Davis of Matthews, NC and daughter Jennifer Wahlquist, husband Brian and granddaughter Violet of Falls Church, VA, and extended family.
