Dianne Margaret Klatt
March 8, 1953 – May 27, 2019

Dianne Margaret Klatt (nee Sherrer) passed away May 27, 2019 at the young age of 66. Dianne was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan March 8, 1953. She was raised on the family farm outside of Lacombe Alberta by Laura and Norman Sherrer .
Dianne is survived by her loving sons Shane & Sonya Klatt, their children Dylan & Tyler of Mission and
Scott & Angela Klatt, their children Mason, Markus & Carter of Mission.
Her siblings, Martin & Carol Sherrer of Lacombe, AlbertaKristine Sherrer & Lee Brandon of Balzac, Alberta and Doug & Sheila Sherrer of Lacombe, Alberta; Nieces & Nephews
Kaitlyn (& Travis Randell), Allison & Marla Sherrer, Janai, Travis, Spencer & Kiefer Jackie and Chelsea Clark.
Dianne took her schooling in Lacombe where she was enrolled in the accelerated program. As a young woman, she worked at the Lacombe Research Station (Ag Canada). In 1975 she moved to Mission with her husband Terry, and sons Shane and Scott. Not long after, she began working at Westvale Foods. As she continued to raise her young family, her career transitioned to East Chilliwack Co-op where she met and established a life long friendship and business partnership with Ellen MacIntyre.
In 1988, after a bottle of wine at the river, she and Ellen created Pacific Coast Fruit Products.
Dianne’s passions were her family, grandchildren and her business. She loved to read books, travel, garden and to spend time at the lake.
After a recent diagnosis and brief battle with cancer, Dianne passed away with her family by her side.
A Celebration of her life will be held on June 13, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Cedar Valley Mennonite Church 32860 Cherry Avenue, Mission BC.
The last few years Dianne was receiving treatment for macular degeneration. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CNIB or the BC Cancer Foundation.
