Doris Viola Cornell

Doris Viola Cornell passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Doris was born on January 28th, 1927 in Chatham Ontario. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Greg, Byron, Brent and daughter Wanda; grandchildren Laurie, Tammy, Jodie, Annette, Desirae, Ashleigh, Adam, Troy, Tyler, Ryann, Dawson, Kyle, Carley, Candace, Ales, Dylan, Shawn and Adam; 18 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Cornell; sons Gary and Wayne Cornell; brothers Willard, Doward and Lloyd and sisters Elta and Hazel. Doris was a very Indearly mother her whole life was her family and children there wasn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for you. If you didn’t have a place for the night her home was yours. There was always another chair at the table. She made you feel loved and always welcomed. She loved people and everyone that she came in contact with loved her. She was everyone’s mom. She loved to tell stories and a good joke. When she laughed it was so infectious and would make you laugh and laugh. She loved her Gardens and flowers and would never turn down a good game of cards. She loved to win and most of the time did. She worked all her life, sometimes two jobs to make sure there was always a meal on the table. She was a true gem!! You would never hear her complain. She was the best of the best.
