Winfield Patrick Koehler

It is heartbreaking sadness that we announce the passing of Wink on Friday May 17th, 2019 at the age of 74. He was a beloved husband of 53 years to Marilyn, loving father to daughter Dani and son Stephen (Jennifer), grandsons Owen and Riley, brother Carl (Vicki), bother in-law Ken (Maureen) as well as his niece, many nephews, special friends Rab McNeil (Phyllis) and Marie Hooper. Many thanks to all the friends and family for all their love and support. Wink is predeceased by his daughter Stacey (1995) and Grandson Tevin (2008) Wink was also a member of the Mission Golf Club and Burnaby Power Squadron and will be missed by all who knew him. Wink was a soccer dad, musician extraordinaire, boater, fisherman, world traveler and most of all he was the most generous, kind and humorous friend to all he met. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church 32860 Cherry Avenue Mission, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
