Tammy Laney McCoy

Tammy Laney McCoy, age 55, of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2019. She was born in Union County on November 13, 1963, the daughter of David Charlie “Shorty” Laney and Bonnie Griffin Hobbs. She was preceded in death by her father, David Charlie Laney. Tammy is survived by her son, Jeremy Wayne McCoy (Courtney); her mother, Bonnie Hobbs; her half-sister, Jennie Byrum and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog, Jazzy. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, May 2, 2019 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A graveside service will be held 3:00 Friday, May 3, 2019 in Mt.
