Obituary of Suzanne Deters
Suzanne Zoe (Crum) Deters, 71, of Boonville, IN passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born in Highland Park, IL to the late Doyle and Beverley Crum. She graduated from Libertyville, IL High School. Suzanne was a member of St. Rupert Parish – Red Brush, owner of Gemini Ceramics in Clinton, IA, and a member of the International Order of the Rainbow, Assembly 33 in Libertyville, IL. She loved to craft, enjoyed ceramics, sewing and quilting. She was preceded in death by father-in-law, Jack Deters. Suzanne is survived by her husband of 40 years, Danny Joseph Deters of Boonville; children, Danny Keith Deters of Nashville, TN, Eliot Louis Deters (Kimberly Ann) of Trenton, IL; grandchildren, Zoey Ruth Ann Deters, Catherine Louise Deters, Kamryn Olivia Deters, Destiny Lucille Watson, Valerie Michelle Deters; sister, Cynthia (Crum) Passaretti; mother-in-law, Muriel Deters; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Rupert Catholic Church, 1244 W. Red Brush Road, Newburgh, IN officiated by Father Jack Durchholz. Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-State Multiple Sclerosis Association, 971 S. Kenmore Drive, Suite C, Evansville, IN 47714.
