Mrs. Margaret Ann (Crosby) McLeod, of Charleston, South Carolina, born on October 11, 1936 in Charleston, South Carolina, passed away at the age 82 on June 8, 2019.
Margaret was married to Ellie J McLeod. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Master; and sister, Joan Skipper; Mother Mildred Crosby, Father Edward Crosby, and Step son Jerry McLeod.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Robert Grady Whittemore JR (Kathy) ; Edward Whittemore (Teresa); daughters, Victoria Cummings (Timothy); Rhonda Hogg; step son Allen McLeod, step daughter Ellen Cassity, brother Bubba Crosby; sisters, Jeannie Forman (John), and Doris Ayers; grandchildren, Kimberly Spencer, Allan Master Jr (Amanda), Shawn Cummings (Ashley), Tyler Cummings (Jenna), Hannah Whittemore, Cody Whittemore, Trenton Hogg, Kayce Grooms, Elizabeth Fellman (Kyle), Ashlyn Whittemore, Edward Whittemore Jr, and Faith Whittemore and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Margaret loved watching her grandchildren play sports, and Atlanta braves baseball. She was a diehard Carolina Gamecock. In her younger years she enjoyed going to the beach and spending time at her Dad’s shop. She never met a stranger. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was a prayer group member at First Baptist of Bonneau.
Friends and family members may attend the Memorial service, officiated by Pastor Ken Owens, on Tuesday, June 11th Viewing from 10am -11am and Service from 11am – 12n at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 RIVERS AVE, North Charleston, South Carolina, 29406.
