M. Irene Haynes

M. Irene Haynes passed away on May 7th, 2019 after a short battle with COPD. Irene was born in Seminole, Oklahoma. She graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. Irene enjoyed her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. She also worked as a retail store manager and sales person. Irene lived and raised her family in Tulsa. She moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 2009 where she met her future husband Bill Haynes. They enjoyed traveling, walking and swimming together. She is preceded in death by brothers, Ray, Glen and Marty Barrett. Irene is survived by her loving husband Bill, devoted sons, Andy (wife Kelly and granddaughter Meagan) Short and Casey (wife Kristen and grandsons Mason and Mitchell) Short. She is also survived by brothers, Walter, Dallas, Larry and David Barrett; sisters, Deloris, Dean (husband Charlie), and Laurah (husband Brad).
