Alma Stewart

Stewart, Alma (nee Douglas) Alma Stewart, age 79, passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Thursday, March 28, 2019. Beloved wife of 42 years to Osbourne. Much loved mother to her one and only Lisa. Dear sister to Gordon Douglas (the late Ruth) and David Douglas (Bethel). Alma will be remembered fondly by her long time friends and colleagues from her memorable career at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. She lived a full life and will always be remembered for the smile on her face and her witty remarks. Visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home at 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON, K1V 1A6 on Friday, April 5th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm until time of funeral services in the chapel. The family invites you to attend the 1:00 pm service and reception to follow afterwards. A private burial will be at a later date. Donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation - Rehabilitation Centre would be appreciated.
