Maria E. Guzman

Maria Guzman passed peacefully with family by her side on Saturday April 6, 2019, at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her sons, Renato, Fred and Scott. Maria will also be lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren, Megan, Anthony, Amber, Alec, Donovan, and Sophia, and by her two great-grandchildren, Layla and Cora. She was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty years, Antonio Guzman and her daughter, Miriam Green. Maria was formally diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013. We lost who she was many years ago, but her spirit always shined through, remaining happy and kind until the end. In our hearts, we hold dearly the memories of how special she truly was. As a grandmother, mother, wife, teacher and counselor, Maria wore a big smile on her face and had open arms. She was determined, passionate with her beliefs, and always stressed the importance of family and loved ones. That’s who she was. That’s what we will remember. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Friday, April 12, 2019 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 113 Lockwood Blvd. Oviedo, Florida 32765Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry.
