Ivan M. Weldon

Ivan Martin Weldon, 57, passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2019. He was the loving son of Patrick “Paddy” and Joan Weldon; beloved brother of Patrick (Patricia), Brian (Barbara), Denise (Dessie) and Julie (Mark); uncle of Keith, Rick, Victoria, James, Garreth, Glenn, Sophie, Jamie, Colin, Eoghan, Zara, Alan and Eve; great uncle of Kai and Sophie; best friend of Buffy Walsh. Ivan was Born in Rush, Dublin, Ireland, but resided in Providence, RI. He worked at Fidelity Investments as a Customer Service Manager. Ivan enjoyed gardening, nature, and a good pint. Ivan was a great cook. He especially enjoyed socializing and going out to dinner with his large circle of friends. He leaves an extended loving family and will be missed by all. Open viewing will be held Monday 4-6:00 P.M. with a funeral home service in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial is private.
