Patsy I. Kosek

Patricia I. Kosek (Pat/Patsy), age 77, passed away May 8, 2019 amongst her family. Pat worked for the Union Advocate Paper (2 years) and St. Paul Chapter NECA/IBEW Local 110 Benefits Office (38 years). She was much loved by many local 110 members!!! From her earliest days, she had an open door for those who needed a place to stay. Her passions included gardening; creative needlework and sewing made for personal gifts; board games and puzzles with a bit of a competitive edge; a cheer leader for family and friends alike- especially water ski competitions of sons and grandchildren; a love of shopping for those special items at the Minnesota State Fair and Slice of Shoreview; and MANY others!!! Her Faith was seen readily through her hospitality, faithfully watching Charles Stanley and others every Sunday. Most importantly, sharing the Love of her Savior- JESUS Christ, amongst fellow dialysis patients, Hospital staff, fellow Metro Mobility travelers and many, many others. Pat was preceded in death by parents Alvin and Viola, Brother Harlan (Butch), Sister (Carol), and Nephew (Mark). She is survived by her sons Randy (Nadine), Jerry (Jan), Chris (Renee), Don (Sarah), 16 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, Brother Don (Bev), Sisters Gloria (Greg) and Sandy (Ross), Aunt Ruth, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Christian Celebration Service 11 am, May 15, 2019 at St. Odilia’s Catholic Church, 3495 Victoria St N, Shoreview, MN 55126. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the church. Pat will be laid to rest at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1510 Dale St N (Dale and Larpenteur).
