IN THE CARE OF
Mourning Glory – Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Gail on the morning of Thursday May 30 in Saskatoon. Gail was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and was the only child of Stewart and Marguerite Steen (nee Corrie). She worked for Winnipeg School Division #1 and gave birth to twin daughters there. She came to Saskatoon in 1986 and made this her home.
Gail enriched the lives of everyone she encountered and if you were her friend you were family. She loved her children and grandchildren, was an enthusiastic volunteer for the CN Pensioners, Railway Museum and the NDP for many years and was ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Gail will be greatly missed by her daughters Heather Peralta (Ron), Bonnie Jarvis (Angel), grandchildren Kaley HoogenBoom (Derrick), Ashley and Alicia Peralta, Constantine Jarvis, dear friends Chris Shewchuk (LeRoy), Glen Olson, Jan Johnson (Russ), step children Arthur (Donna) Byrnes, Randy (Carol) Byrnes, Marion (Chris Aqui) Byrnes, Patricia (Duncan) McNaughton, Nancy (Brian) Farrell, grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins and so many other whose lives she touched.
