Antonia M. DeMasi

Antonia M. DeMasi passed away at her home on August 28, 2019, surrounded by friends and family. She was born on August 6, 1959 in Bronxville to Joseph and Gloria Silano Lorusso. Antonia graduated from Eastchester High School in1977 and shortly thereafter became a licensed Optician in 1980. On September 23, 1984 she married Joseph DeMasi of Pelham. In 1993, she began her own eyeglass business called Optical Visit Inc. Over the years with her hard work and determination, Optical Visit grew into a very successful business located in Eastchester. She took great pride in her work and it was her passion for over 40 years. Antonia is pre-deceased by her father Joseph Lorusso and survived by her husband Joseph DeMasi, her two sons Joseph (Michelle) and Justin (Janie), her mother Gloria Lorusso and her grandson Joseph. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday September 3, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church Tuckahoe 10:30 AM. Entombment Ferncliff Cemetery Hartsdale. Visitation Monday September 2, 2019 from 3-8PM at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes 824 Scarsdale Ave Scarsdale NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital preferred.
