Esther Trelles Asteinza of Woodbury, NY, formerly of Forest Hills, N.Y. on June 28th ,2018. Beloved wife of the late Jose R. Asteinza. Loving mother of Esther (Juan) Gomez-Nieto, Carmen Asteinza and Jose Asteinza (Carola Van Gelderen). Cherished grandmother of 14 and a great grandmother to many. Dear sister of Carlos and Maria. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 6th, 2018 at 9:45 AM at St. Edward Confessor RC Church, 205 Jackson Ave., Syosset, NY, followed by a private scattering of ashes at sea, leaving from Freeport, NY. Esther was a founding member of Alexanders Angels Inc., so the family request that in lieu of flowers that donations can be made to Alexanders Angels Inc.
