CMSgt. Aubrey Gerald “Jerry” Hines, (United States Air Force, Retired) died on Sunday, February 8, 2015. Aubrey was born on October 4, 1932 to Aubrey Hines and Ethel Marie Skaggs in Laurel, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Phyllis Hines; brothers, Harold Hines and Kenneth Hines and sister Betty Wigham. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Hines; children, Roxann Clabaugh, Aubrey G. Hines (Rhonda), Step-daughters, Rhonda Smith (Richard), Kathleen Blais and Angela Ruszala; step-sons, Kirby Heath and Kent Heath; grandchildren, Teresa Clabaugh, Abigail Hines, Nicholas Hines, Damion Hanson, Jerick Hanson, Gabriel Merry, Miranda Merry and Madison Ruszala. Jerry was involved in many organizations including Union Masonic Lodge 0415 A.F. & A.M., Schertz Chapter 911 O.E.S. www.schertzchapteroes.org , Alzahar Shrine, San Antonio Scottish Rite Bodies, B. P. O. E. (Elks Lodge #183) www.elks.org. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
