Jose Leos, Jr.

Jose Leos, Jr. “Joe” Jose Leos, Jr., passed away peacefully on October 1, 2019 in Sandy City, Utah. He was born on January 19, 1952 In Lubbock, Texas to Jose Leos, Sr. and Estella Luna Leos. Joe graduated from West High School. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed doing family history research and working in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Joe proudly served his country in the United Stated Air Force. He spent a period of time in Vietnam. Upon his return home from Vietnam, Joe worked various jobs: UTA, Red Hanger, VA and Hill Air Force Base. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, nieces and nephews. He was a child at heart and loved watching cartoons. Joe is survived by his siblings, Josie L. (Wayne) Buchanan, Manuel (Mary Jo) Leos, Linda (Liz) Leos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Leos, Sr., and Estella Leos; two brothers, Frank and John Leos and one sister, San Juanita Flores. Funeral service for Joe will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 6-8pm and again on Saturday morning one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place the following Saturday on October 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Valley View Memorial Park.
