Germaine Dupuis

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Germaine Dupuis (nee Trudel), on Sunday May 12th at Actionmarguerite, St. Vital. She lost her beloved husband of 72 years, Théodore (Ted) Dupuis just five short months ago. She was also predeceased by her parents, Arsène and Clara Trudel, as well as her brothers Henri and Luc and their wives. She was a loving Mom to Laura (Gerry Lambert) and Joselyn (Bryon Burvill); a memère to Joanne, Michelle (Steve), Amy, Heath, Erin and Andrew; a great grandma to Kali, Cody, Geneviève (Randy), Julia, Lennox, Griffin, Katie and Lily; a foster mom to Heather (Robert) and their sons Conan (Marcelle) and Shane. Germaine was a wonderful homemaker and a cook. She took great pride in her home and kept it in pristine condition. She was an avid gardener, loved to keep busy with crafts, needle point, and in her retirement years discovered she was a painter. Her beautiful works of art adorn the walls of our homes. Besides her talented ability with crafts she also loved playing games and cards with her friends and family. No visit would be complete without a game of cards. Mom was a hard worker, a talented individual and will be greatly missed by all of us. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Cathédrale St. Boniface, 180 Avenue de la Cathédrale, on Friday May 17, 2019 at 10:30 am, with Eulogy prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Actionmarguerite St. Vital, Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba or a charity of ones choice.
