Lisa Ann Herriot

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Lisa on June 25, 2018 after a very courageous battle of cancer at the age of 49. Left to cherish her memory is her father Albert Van Cauwenberghe; mother Della; brother Glenn (Suzanne); grandfather Morris De Jaegher; uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandma Vida De Jaegher and grandma and grandpa Elodie D’Hont and Harry D’Hont; Uncle Albert Yackel and Uncle Celestain Grenier. Lisa worked for many years as a licensed optician and Contact Lens Fitter. She especially enjoyed her time at the Charleswood Eye Centre for the past 15 years. Lisa was an avid runner. Travelling extensively running marathons, making many lifelong friends. Lisa had a great fondness for animals, and took on many dog sitting jobs. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Special thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare.
