Maurice Joseph Edouard Desautels

Maurice Desautels, 72, of Winnipeg, MB, succumbed to cancer surrounded by his family on October 2, 2018 Maurice is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ilse; along with four children; Richard (Crystal) of Kamloops, B.C., Michael (Barb) of Edmonton, AB, Keith (Connie) and Brian (Meagan) of Winnipeg, MB & eight grandchildren, Lindsay, Alex, Brianne, Alexandra, Ethan, Owen, Matthew & Mia. Sisters Leona (Ed), Louise (Bob) and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Maurice was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He loved sports, especially watching his grand children’s hockey games. He was always there to help relatives and friends whenever needed. A special thank you to Concordia Hospital Staff for their loving care and support. As to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral.
