Gene Meaker

William "Gene" Meaker, age 56, of Alexandria, VA passed away on December 23, 2017. He was born on July 24, 1961 in Alexandria, VA to William Joseph Meaker and Mary Lawson. He was preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Meaker. Gene is survived by his mother, Mary Virginia Lawson and brothers, David Wayne Meaker (Fredricksburg) and Michael Lynn Meaker (Alexandria) A visitation for William will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home, Old Town Alexandria. The funeral service will occur on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Demaine Funeral Home, Old Town Alexandria with a burial to follow immediately at Washington Street UMC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the American Heart Association in Gene’s memory.
