Michael L. Bolton

Michael L. Bolton, 68, a loving and amazing husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 3, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Debbie K. Bolton; son, David E. Bolton; three grandchildren, Taylor Bolton, Nicolas Bolton and Abigail Bolton; brother, Ron (Marcella) Bolton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lin (Mike) Madeson; brother-in-law,Fred Presser; and niece, Shellie L. McKenna. Michael had special relationships with Brandy Bolton and Nicolas Soulier. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Louise Bolton; and sister, Sandra Presser. Throughout his career, Mike worked in the petroleum industry, which included, Petroleum Equipment and Service (Dubuque, IA), Unipump (Menominee Falls, WI), Financial Card Service (Texas) and Tokheim Corporation from 1985-2002. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Nueco Altec from 2004-2017. Michael was a Vietnam Veteran, an Indy 500 crew member, world traveler, lover of cars, snowmobiler, and an avid camper and fisherman. He was a member of the Ubon Vets, Fort Wayne Corvette Club and The Chapel. A Memorial Visitation is being held from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835) and again on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home (1010 Main Street, Lapel, IN 46051). A Funeral Service will be at 10am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, IN. Arrangements entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
