Rosario Macrohon Punsalan

Rosario Macrohon Punsalan, 103, passed away to be with the Lord on May 14, 2019. Though born in Zamboanga City, Philippines, Rosario lived in the Hampton Roads area since 1960. Her proudest moment in her life was on March 1, 1978 when she became an American citizen. She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Leon Flores Punsalan. Rosario was the loving mother of Basil M. Punsalan, Victoria P. Arness, Frances P. Wood, Rosemarie P. Beyer, Leonora M. Punsalan and Bernard M. Punsalan; the caring grandmother of 15; and the doting great-grandmother of 20. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.
