Obituary of James "Jim" A. Lee
James “Jim” A. Lee, 75, of Newburgh, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 13, 2020. He was born December 15, 1944 in Princeton, IN to the late Wilmer and Kathleen (Jenkins) Lee. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Jim retired from Bristol Myers and was a member of Zion UCC Church. He loved cars and more cars, even still owning the first car he ever purchased, a 1966 Pontiac GTO with 137,000 miles. He was a member of the Tri-State Corvette club for many years, the NHRA and was a big NASCAR fan. Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth A. (Wilder) Lee; daughters, Krista Troutt (Heath), Jamie Lee and Amanda Webb (Michael); grandchildren, Ava, Aiden, Ian and Austin; sisters, Jennifer Wright-Head, Joyce M. Knight and Jane A. Carter, and brother, Jeff Lee. A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2020 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Dan Kennedy, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Kapperman Post will perform military rites. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion UCC.
