Edwin Neusch

Edwin was one of nine children and grew up in Panhandle, Texas, as part of a farming family. Those early years helped shape the strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to providing for his family that would characterize him throughout his life.

In March 1975, Edwin married Patricia, beginning a loving marriage that would span more than 51 years. Together, they built their life in Amarillo, Texas and raised two children, Ryan Neusch and Lisa Noble. Edwin was a devoted husband and father who worked hard, provided well for his family, and took great pride in caring for those he loved.

Faith was also an important part of Edwin's life. For more than 30 years, Edwin and Patricia were devoted members of Comanche Trail Church of Christ, where Edwin also served as a deacon. His Christian faith was reflected not only in his service to the church, but in the way he lived his life and cared for his family and friends.

Edwin was deeply loved by his five wonderful grandchildren, Samuel, Zayin, Bethany, Zeke, and Aliyah, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Ryan and Lisa; his five grandchildren; and several siblings, including Diane, Leonard, Millie, Noreen, and Vernon and many friends.

While Edwin's passing brings great sadness to those who love him, his family also celebrates a life well lived. By every meaningful measure, his was a successful life of faith, a long and loving marriage, children and grandchildren who loved him dearly, and decades spent faithfully providing for and caring for his family.

Edwin leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, hard work, and love, and a family made stronger by the life he lived and the example he set.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life Service for Edwin at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests remembering Comanche Trail Benevolence Fund or High Plains Children's Home.
