Prayers for your father. My late father was also in the US Marine Corps and also fought at Iwo Jima. He was in the 5th Marine Division. Perhaps right now your father and mine are talking about their old Marine Corps days together.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Deacon deLadurantaye. May he rest in peace with God and may you, his family, find comfort in Jesus Christ and in each other. It's so difficult to lose a parent, you think you're prepared, but it's always heartbreaking.
