Berkley Anderson Gammon

GAMMON, Berkley Anderson known to many as "Buck" or "Burt", 79, of Ashland, VA, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. He was the son of the late Ewell and Annie Gammon and was preceded in death by 2 children. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Bernice Gammon; daughters, Erin Kubicki (Scott), Cheryl Coons (Russ), and Shelby Kelly; sons, Burke Gammon (Crystal), Brian Gammon, Mike Murray, and David McCloud (Bridgette); 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and sister, Audrey Loving (Walter). He was a long time general contractor who truly loved to work and help people. Buck loved his church and church family at the Ashland Church of God. He was known to make an impression on everyone he came in contact with. A visitation will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle St, Ashland, VA 23005 with a funeral service to follow at 11:30am. A committal service will take place at 1:00pm at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069.
