Charles A Lewis

Charles A. Lewis, 82, of Ashland, VA, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Charles was the son of the late Johnnie and Maude Lewis. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jamie M. Covey and brother, Marshall Lewis. Charles retired from Phillip Morris after 30 years. He was a faithful member of the Ashland Church of God. Charles will be lovingly remembered by Susan, his wife of 40 years; his children, Arlene (Lee), Chuck (Gail) and Cindy; children of wife, Randy (Roeann), Robin and Lori as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and special friends Frances and Cathy. Family will receive visitors from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Ashland Church of God, 407 Myrtle St, Ashland, VA 23005. Burial will follow the service and be held at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069.
